Knowledge Studio project

ArcGIS Knowledge Studio organizes your work into projects. A Knowledge Studio project is a workspace for exploring and analyzing knowledge graph data. Each Knowledge Studio project contains one investigation, which includes a reference to the knowledge graph, a knowledge graph view, and a dashboard view. The investigation can also reference maps, link charts and data cards.

Content item types in Knowledge Studio

A Knowledge Studio project can have five content item types: the knowledge graph view, the dashboard, maps, link charts, and data cards. Each content item opens in a view based on its type. Content items open in new tabs, and you can have 13 tabs open at the same time.

All Knowledge Studio projects include a knowledge graph and a dashboard, which cannot be removed from the project. All other items are created through workflows and can be removed.

Knowledge graph view

The knowledge graph view Knowledge graph view is one of the default views in a Knowledge Studio project. The knowledge graph view allows you to explore the entities and relationships defined in the investigation's knowledge graph.

Dashboard view

The dashboard view Dashboard view is one of the default views in a Knowledge Studio project and provides an overview of the contents of the project. It lists the entity and relationship types in the investigation’s knowledge graph and maps and link charts that are in the project. It also summarizes the portal information related to the project, including the referenced knowledge graph, the project creation date, who created it, and when it was last modified.

You can click the name of a map or link chart in your project to open it directly from the dashboard view.
