What's new in ArcGIS Server 11.2—ArcGIS Server | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise

Offline geodatabase datasets

Starting with ArcGIS Server 11.2, you can publish parcel fabrics and utility networks as feature services that reference registered data, and enable sync on the feature services to take the parcel fabric or utility network offline in clients that support them, such as ArcGIS Pro 3.2.

Taking parcel fabrics offline in ArcGIS Pro allows you to use parcel editing and topology tools when working with the data when you don't have network connectivity.

You can define what functionality is available for the utility network when you take it offline. See Take maps offline for more information.

Migrate object IDs and date fields

Beginning with ArcGIS Server 11.2, you can migrate the following field data types to extend the precision they support:

You can migrate object ID fields in a geodatabase to store 64-bit values. However, you cannot enable sync for feature services that contain 64-bit object IDs.
You can migrate date fields to store high precision time values. High precision date fields can return values with millisecond precision although some clients may not use the full precision for querying or editing.

Changes in database support

ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2 is the last release to support Microsoft SQL Server 2016. If you use ArcGIS to access data in SQL Server 2016, you'll need to upgrade SQL Server to use it with future versions of ArcGIS.

The following database management system versions are no longer supported:

PostgreSQL 11.x
Microsoft Azure Database for PostgreSQL (Single Server)

Report print services

Introduced at 11.2, you can publish print services from ArcGIS Pro 3.2 or later to enable the printing of reports based on Layout templates (.pagx), Report templates (.rptx), or both.
